About our Services

Diabetes Care

  • Conduct diabetes screening programs for adults and children.
  • Organize awareness seminars and prevention campaigns for general public.
  • Conduct seminars in schools to educate children on control and prevention of diabetes.
  • Get the support of community health centers to conduct diabetes management programs.
  • Organize projects to observe World Diabetes day on 14 November.

Care for Vision

  • Conduct vision screening programs for Adults and School Children.
  • Provide spectacles for needy people.
  • Arrange Cataract surgeries for the needy.
  • Organize awareness programs on eye donation in collaboration with the National Eye Bank of Sri Lanka.
  • Organize projects to observe International White Cane Day on 15th October.

Relieving the Hunger

  • Serve meals to orphanages & elders homes.
  • Distribution of dry rations to families in need.
  • Deliver cooked meals to needy school children.
  • Provide meals to Samurdhi recipients.
  • Organize projects to observe World Food Day on 16th October.

Protect Environment

  • Tree Planting - "1 Member 3 Trees".
  • Conduct programs on preserving the environment and water conservation.
  • Support community action towards protecting the environment.
  • Organize Environmental Education Projects in schools.
  • Organize projects to Observe World Environment Day on 5 th June.

Childhood Cancer

  • Expand access to life-saving treatment by providing financial support to pediatric cancer patients.
  • Provide support to affected families.
  • Organize awareness programs on early detection and care.
  • Give financial support to the children's cancer ward at Apeksha hospital and Karapitiya Hospital.
  • Organize Projects to observe International Childhood Cancer Dayon 15th February.

Literacy & Child Care

  • Organize awareness program to the general public on prevention of child abuse.
  • Introduce Peace Poster competitions among schools.
  • Support local libraries, organize book donations and build classrooms for underprivileged children.
  • Reading Action and spoken English Programs.
  • Organize Projects to observe Children's day in Sri Lanka on 1st of October.

Youth & Elder Care

  • Sponsor a Leo Club.
  • Engage young people in service projects and youth skill development programs.
  • Care for elders by offering assistance respecting their dignity.
  • Offer meals and provisions to elders homes.
  • Organize Projects to observe International day for senior citizens on 1st of October.

Women & Mother Care

  • Women economic empowerment through Micro Finance Loans and supporting hardworking female entrepreneurs.
  • Support girls and women in crisis and offer them training, education and counseling.
  • Provide essentials for mothers with new born babies. (Diapers, blankets, bassinet, soap, baby powder etc.)
  • Equip maternity clinics and provide essential supplies.
  • Organize Projects to observe International Women's Day on 8th March.

Serve the Nation

  • Provide shelter for homeless.
  • Arrange disaster relief for people affected by natural calamities.
  • Make a community impact by expanding a library, school or equip a hospital.
  • Provide Bus Stands, Children's Play Grounds, Public wells etc.. for the community.
  • Provide provisions to religious places and Dhamma Schools.

Lions Image Building

  • Sponsor a New Club
  • Erectionof Lion's Logo in public places eg: Welcome hoardings, Sponsor name boards for publics institutions.
  • Sponsor equipment for children's playgrounds.
  • Sponsor public events eg: cricket tournaments, sports meets, volleyball tournaments etc..
  • Conduct Legacy projects for Lions image building.
